Submission and Publication Process
To ensure academic quality and publishing standards, the journal follows a rigorous multi-stage process:
Stage One: Academic Review (Decision on Acceptance)
-
Initial screening (format and AI check):
The editorial office conducts a preliminary review of formatting, compliance, and academic integrity (including checks for AI-generated content and text similarity). Manuscripts that fail to meet requirements will be returned. -
Editorial academic review:
Subject editors assess the manuscript’s scholarly value, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope, and decide whether it should be sent for external peer review. Manuscripts not passing this stage will be rejected. -
External peer review:
Manuscripts passing the second stage will be reviewed under a double-blind system by at least two external experts. Successful peer review is the decisive basis for acceptance.
Stage Two: Publication Arrangement (For Accepted Manuscripts)
-
Acceptance notification:
Authors of manuscripts that pass external peer review will receive a formal acceptance notice. -
Licensing agreement:
Authors are required to sign a non-exclusive license agreement. Authors retain copyright while granting the journal the right to use the work in various forms, including print, electronic, online publication, and commemorative editions. -
Editing, proofreading, and author approval:
The editorial team will carry out editing and multiple rounds of proofreading. Authors are expected to cooperate with revisions and to confirm final proofs. -
Final review (publication scheduling):
The Editor-in-Chief or Editorial Board conducts a final formal review of accepted and fully edited manuscripts, determining the specific issue and section of publication. This stage does not involve reassessment of scholarly content. -
Publication and dissemination:
Manuscripts will be formally published according to the finalized schedule.
Notification of Results
Within one month of receipt, the editorial office will complete Stage One (academic review) and notify authors of the outcome. Timelines for subsequent stages for accepted manuscripts will be communicated separately.
